Dorovskikh Vladimir Anatolievich
He was born in 1942 in the village in the Khabarovsk Krai. In 1965 he graduated from Blagoveshchensk State Medical Institute (now ASMA), then - post-graduate studies at the department of pharmacology. Author of over 500 scientific papers, two dozen monographs and textbooks, the rector of ASMA has 18 patents for inventions. Under his supervision 8 doctoral and 20 master's theses were carried out.

Amur State Medical Institute was founded in 1952. In 1996 it was renamed Amur State Medical Academy. It is situated in Blagoveshensk on the Amur. There are more than 3600 students at our Academy.
The teaching staff of our Academy includes more than 300 persons.
There are 37 chairs at our Academy.
We have 3 educational buildings, 2 large assembly halls, 3 sport halls and 8 students’ hostels.
In 2002 the Academy celebrated 50th anniversary. Our Academy is one of the oldest higher school in Blagoveschensk and we are very proud of it.
